John L. Konechne has been the President of Shores Agency Inc since 1980. He has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years being employed by insurance companies and agencies and is the founder of Pointe Counseling Services LLC. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and several insurance designations including the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Risk Management from the American Institute and is licensed as an Insurance Counselor in the State of Michigan.
Mr. Konechne has served on many technical insurance committees and chaired the national Consumer and Technical Advocacy Committee for three years for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Mid America Insurance Conference and the Michigan Association of Independent Agents.
Mr. Konechne has been married for over 30 years to Lynn and has one son. He enjoys community activities through his association with the Lions Club and is a Life Member of AMVETS Post #29 as a Viet Nam Veteran. He enjoys sailing and skiing.

Sandy Schuman started her insurance career in 1972 as a part-time file girl at an Independent Insurance Agency not far from her home. After graduating from high school in 1974, she attended classes at Michigan State University and obtained her solicitor?s license. She attends various insurance classes on a regular basis to be kept updated on changes and issues that develop within the insurance industry. Sandy has been with Aitken-Ormond & Shores Agency since 1998 as the Senior Personal Lines Account Manager.
Outside of the office, Sandy enjoys spending time with her three sons, daughter-in-law, and grandson.
Karen Jones-Personal Lines Account Manager

Karen Jones has been in the insurance industry since June 2001, where she started as a part-time receptionist at Aitken-Ormond & Shores Insurance Agency. In March of 2003, Karen accepted an offer to advance within the company by accepting an position as a Personal Lines Account Manager.
Over her years working at Aitken-Ormond & Shores Insurance Agency, Karen has taken several insurance courses, and is currently a State of Michigan licensed Property & Casualty solicitor. Mrs. Jones also holds the Certified Insurance Service Representative designation, which she received in May of 2009.
Karen is married with two children. In her time away from work she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, bowling and is a very active member in her church community.
Joanne Roulo, CIC, CISR, Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager

Joanne Roulo has over 18 years experience in the insurance industry, and has been at Aitken-Ormond & Shores for 13 years. She has an associate?s degree in business and has taken several insurance courses. In addition to her insurance license, she holds the Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Insurance Service Representative designations.
Joanne is married, has two children, and two grandchildren. She enjoys entertaining and spending time with her family and friends, reading fiction, watching old movies and attending and/or watching sporting events especially baseball and football.

Kathy Geatches has been in the insurance industry for 8 years. She has worked with Aitken-Ormond and Shores Agency for 4 years assisting clients with their Business Insurance needs. She is a licensed insurance agent and has taken several insurance courses in property and casualty.
Kathy has two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending her son?s baseball games, weekends up north and many outdoor activities.

Russ Wilcox has been with the Shores Agency since 2007 and has been in the insurance industry since 1971. He was previously one of the Regional Insurance Consultants for Comerica Insurance Services. He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Michigan. He is a life member of the Million Dollar Member which is an international group of agents. Less than 5% of all agents in the world qualify for this group. He is licensed as an Insurance Counselor in the State of Michigan. He is also a Series 6 Registered Representative.
Mr Wilcox provides counseling in areas of wealth accumulation, protection, retirement planning, legacy planning and business transition services. He is also life and health licensed. Mr. Wilcox has served on many committees. He has been a Member of the Salvation Army Planned Giving Committee since 1990 and a Member of the Detroit Financial and Estate Planning Council since the mid 1970?s.
Mr. Wilcox has been married for over 37 years to Judy and has one son and one daughter. He enjoys tennis, bicycling, flight simulators and reading.

Renee Mason Sherry has over 12 years experience working in the insurance industry. She joined the staff of Aitken and Ormond in 2004 after leaving Nationwide Insurance. Renee enjoys the freedom of working for an Independent Agency, because it helps her find the ?right fit? for all her clients. Renee received a Bachelor Degree in Family Community Services with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education in 1995 from Michigan State University. She is currently a state licensed Property & Casualty solicitor.
Renee is married and has five little girls. She recently moved to Grosse Pointe Woods and loves the friendliness of the community there. Renee is the Secretary for the Grosse Pointe North Booster Club, and can often be found on the sidelines of one sport or another. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, and good Italian food.
